Step 1: Select the floodlight camera in the smart life app under 'All Devices'

undefined

Step 2: Select settings, the 3 dots... on the upper right

undefined

Step 3: Select 'IR Night Vision'

undefined

You then have the option to select Auto, Off or On

Auto - This setting will turn the floodlight lamp on during the night when motion is detected.  (Important: If it is night outside and there is a light source near the camera, the camera may be tricked into thinking that it is still daylight. The easiest way to determine this is when you set the camera to 'Auto', the camera live view should be in black and white in the evening and color during the day. If the live feed is in color during the night then the motion detection lights will not turn on.

Off – This setting will not turn the lamp on when motion is detected.

On – This setting will turn the floodlight lamp on during the day or night when motion is detected.  Note that during the day or night the live feed will be in black and white. When the light turns on after detecting motion, the live feed will be in color.

When you have made you selection, you will return to the Settings menu.

Step 4: Select 'Detection Alarm Settings'

undefined

Select the back ← arrow beside PIR set when you have chosen your setting.

Step 6: Select 'Storage settings'. The storage capacity should read 29.29 GB this will ensure that you have installed the SD Card correctly. If you see dont see anything then you have inserted the SD Card improperly or have forgotten to insert it into the camera. Select arrow ← to return to setting menu.

Step 7: Select 'Recording Settings'

undefined

Ensure that the Local Recording (to the 32 GB SD Card) is enabled.

The provided 32 GB memory if set to 'Non-Stop Recording' will become full after 4 days and then automatically delete the first hour of the recording, overwriting the older footage.

If set to 'Event Recording' , only events with motion detection will be recorded. Depending on how much motion traffic is in the view of the camera, a 32 GB card could contain 3 to 8 weeks of motion detected event footage.

undefined

Step 8: Exit the recording settings menu and return to the main live feed interface.

Select the arrow point up on the bottom right of the menu to expand the menu.

undefined

You can set the time for the light to stay on when motion is detected from 5 to 180 seconds (3 min)

undefined

Select 'Action' to save your settings. You will then return to the Light Control menu.
