4. A demonstration of how the Sim Card feature works
We will demonstrate how the OSI Wi-Fi Security System Sim Card feature functions when the alarm system is triggered
Step 1: First we will 'Arm' the OSI Alarm System
Step 2: A 5 second count down has been set for the 'Exit Delay" time. Exit Delay - Gives a short period of time to leave your home or business once you arm the alarm.
Step 3: A motion sensor is then triggered
Step 4: When the sensor was triggered, a 5 second count down was set for the 'Entry Delay' time. Entry Delay - Gives a short period of time to disarm your alarm when entering your home or business.
Step 5: Zone 2 - living room PIR motion sensor shows an alert on the alarm display panel.
Step 6: The alarm panel will first send an sms text message to your cell phone number.
Step 7: The text message from the alarm panel will then be received by your cell phone. The 'serial number' of your alarm panel, the sensor 'zone description' and 'zone number'.
Step 8: After the SMS text message is sent, the alarm panel will phone your cell number
Step 9: A phone call from the OSI Alarm Panel is then received by your cell number.
Step 10: When the phone call is answered, a voice message that you recorded on the alarm panel will let you know that the alarm has been triggered. Example 'You are receiving this message because the alarm system is going off at your house' Which will be followed by voice prompts with 4 options:
Press 1 to ARM: Once pressed it will arm the system immediately.
Press 2 to DISARM: Once pressed it will disarm the system immediately.
Press 3 to MONITOR: Once pressed you can hear what is going on using the internal speaker on the alarm system.
