This guide explains how to temporarily disable the Local Alarm and Siren Alarm on your Gen 2 system. This is recommended when performing tests with an alarm monitoring agent or when removing the panel from the wall for troubleshooting, to prevent the siren from sounding during the process. 1. OVERVIEW:

This guide explains how to temporarily disable the Local Alarm and Siren Alarm on your Gen 2 system. This is recommended when performing tests with an alarm monitoring agent or when removing the panel from the wall for troubleshooting, to prevent the siren from sounding during the process.

1. Select the 'Security' icon on the main menu.


2. Enter your passcode and press OK.


3. Select the 'Alarm' Icon


4. Turn off the 'Local Alarm' and the 'Siren Alarm'


5. Once both settings are disabled, select the “Home” icon to return to the main menu.



Important: Remember to turn the 'Local Alarm' and the 'Siren Alarm' when you have completed the test with an alarm monitoring agent or troubleshooting.
