Overview
Tamper switches on the alarm are buttons that are pressed down by protruding areas of the rear covers. These are in place so that if the alarm is armed or disarmed, it will trigger when tampering occurs.
The tamper switch will be activated if the back cover of the PIR motion sensor is removed to change the batteries, or if the cover on the entry sensor is opened by sliding it off to the right to change the batteries. This ensures you are notified if someone attempts to interfere with or disable the sensors.
