Will the Gen 2 send out a RF signal loss notification if a sensor is broken or damaged

Currently, the GEN 2 alarm panel does not support the functionality to notify users of RF signal loss if a sensor is broken. Unfortunately, this means that if a sensor becomes damaged, the alarm device will not send out an RF signal loss notification.

However, the system does provide notifications for low battery levels in PIR sensors or Door/Window sensors. When a low battery is detected, a notification will be sent or displayed. For more detailed information on battery notifications, please refer to this article: How will I know when the sensor batteries need replacing for the GEN 2?

We acknowledge the importance of detecting and notifying about non-functional sensors and understand this concern.  We will consider it for future enhancements of the system.
