Why perform a full power cycle?
Turning the alarm system completely off (unplugging the power and battery, then turning it back on after a few minutes) can:

Clear out small system glitches, just like restarting a computer.

Reconnect the panel to Wi-Fi or 4G if it lost connection.

Reset sensors or accessories that stopped responding.

Help clear temporary error messages or false alerts.
