In the Smart Life app, notifications help you stay updated on events related to your smart devices. Here’s what each notification category typically means:
-
Alarm Notifications (System Notifications):
- These notify you of alerts from connected devices, such as motion detection from cameras or alarm system security breaches.
- Example: "Motion detected in the living room" or "Gen 2 Alarm System: Motion Alarm."
-
Home Notifications:
- These provide updates about activities related to smart home automation, such as when a device is turned on/off, a device is removed or unshared and scenes are activated.
- Example: "You have stopped sharing Living Room cam" or "Hallway Cam removed"
-
Bulletin Notifications:
- These are system or app-related updates, including promotions, feature announcements, or maintenance alerts from Tuya.
- Example: "See Your Real-Time Power" or "Scheduled maintenance on December 25."
Alarm and Home notifications are important, however you may want to remove the Bulletin Notifications if you no longer wish to receive promotional ads for example.
