Vibration sensor shows as door open after being triggered

The reason your Vibration Sensor is showing as Door Open after being triggered is because you most likely added it as an Entry Sensor. Therefore it is acting as a Entry Sensor where when it is triggered it will show door open and then expect it to show as closed with contact to the magenetic piece.

so in order to fix this delete the sensor and add it either one of 2 ways:

Add as Urgent Sensor:  This will make the vibration sensor trigger when your alarm is armed or disarmed; perfect for using for areas you do not want anyone going into at any time such as a drawer, cabinet or other important spaces with important documents or valuables etc.

Add as Motion Sensor (most popular): This will make the vibration sensor trigger only when you arm the alarm system. it will not show as door open or closed. Perfect when using it for a window for example
