If you need to reconnect the Gen 2 to the Smart Life app using your new Wi-Fi password, we would suggest that you remove (delete) the Gen 2 device from the Smart Life app and then re-add it.
On the Gen 2, select the Connections icon ((o)). Enter the passcode, then select Wi-Fi. Ensure that Bluetooth is turned on in your phone settings and that you are connected to your home network.
Next, select Airlink on the panel. In the Smart Life app, tap the + sign in the top-right corner and choose Add Device. The Gen 2 device should appear—just select it to proceed.
Finally, choose your Wi-Fi network, enter your Wi-Fi password, and the device will begin the connection process with the app.
