What “No Monthly Fees” Means
When our company refers to “No Monthly Fees,” it means that the OSI Gen 2 Alarm System can be self-monitored at no additional cost when connected to the Smart Life App using your home or business Wi-Fi.
With this setup, you will:
- 
Receive instant push notifications on your smartphone if the alarm is triggered. 
- 
Be able to monitor and control your system remotely using the Smart Life App. 
- 
Use your mobile data or another Wi-Fi connection to receive alerts when you’re away from home or the office. 
This allows you to enjoy complete DIY monitoring without any recurring fees.

Adding an Extra Layer of Security (Optional)
If you want to use your alarm panel without Wi-Fi, or if Wi-Fi is unavailable in your area, the system can also operate on the 4G network.
Note: You will not be able to use the Smart Life app, as it requires a Wi-Fi connection. Instead, you will receive SMS messages on your mobile device.
A SIM card can also be used for additional protection in case your Wi-Fi goes offline. By inserting a SIM card from your local cellular provider, the system will be able to send alerts over the mobile network.
