A camera connected to the Smart Life app can use a 32GB SD card to store recorded footage. When set to non-stop recording, the camera will continuously record for approximately three days before overwriting the oldest footage incrementally.
When set to event recording, the footage can last for several months since only motion-detected events are recorded. However, event recording has a slight delay—it begins a couple of seconds after motion is detected and will continue to record about one minute after the motion stops. This may result in a few seconds of missed motion events. In contrast, non-stop recording ensures that all activity is fully captured.
We advise testing these two functions to see which will suit your needs.

SD Card Storage Duration when set to Non-Stop recording Before Overwriting
The following estimates show how long an SD card will store footage before it begins overwriting the oldest recordings incrementally:
- 32GB SD Card – Approximately 3 days
- 64GB SD Card – Approximately 6 days
- 128GB SD Card – Approximately 12 days
