Rename the Gen 2 Controller to know who armed and disarmed the Gen 2 Alarm Panel using the controller

You can assign names to the controller from the Smart Life app.  If someone arms or disarms the alarm panel using the controller, you will be able to identify which family member or employee armed or disarmed the alarm panel.

To assign a name to a controller:

1. Open the Gen 2 Alarm System device on the Smart Life App
   
2. Select 'Accessories' at the bottom of the OSI Alarm interface
   
3. Under Accessories tab, select 'Controller' tab
   
4. Select the Controller you want to rename
   
5. Select 'Sub Device Name'
   
6. Enter in the designated name and Save.
   

Now when the Alarm Panel is armed or disarmed using the controller, the controller name will show up in the Smart Life apps 'Security Records'

and the alarm panel 'Alarm Log'
