The wireless touch keypad will arm and disarm the Gen 2 security system with one passcode or RFID tag(s).  It is connected to you alarm panel via the eV1527 433Mhz protocol. It's effective communication range can be up to 80 metres without obstacles. The internal lithium-ion rechargeable battery provides power operation for up to 6 months.

Note: The keypad will disarm the Gen 2 alarm panel with the keypad user passcode, one admin code and three user codes, or the RFID tags (max of 10 RFID tags). The keypad will not disarm the Gen 2 alarm system using the passcodes that you have programmed into the Gen 2 alarm panel itself. However you can program the keypad with the same passcodes that you programmed into the Gen 2 alarm panel.

Charging the Battery

STEP 1: Push the battery switch to 'On'.

STEP 2: Connect your keypad to a power outlet using the included USB C cable and your cell phone charger.

STEP 3: It will take 2 to 3 hours to fully charge the keypad battery from an empty state.

STEP 4:The power indicator will turn from a Red to a Green color (If this does not occur

How to pair the keypad with the Gen 2 Alarm System

STEP 1: Set the alarm panel into pairing mode by selecting the sensor icon on the main menu. Enter in your passcode, then select the keypad accessory icon.

STEP 2: Select the + plus sign on the top left. You will have 20 seconds to trigger the keypad.  

STEP 3: Press the 'Doorbell' button to send a signal to the Gen 2 alarm panel.

STEP 4: The Keypad will sound two long beeps and the alarm panel should say 'Pair Ok'

 

User and Admin Passcode

The Keypad uses four,  4-digit passcodes.
1. User Passcode is used to arm, home arm and disarm the security system
2. Admin passcode is used to pair, delete RFID tags and change passcodes.
3. Default User passcode 1,  is 1234, default Admin passcode is 9876
4. User passcode 2 & 3 are not enabled and can be programmed

Note: The keypad will disarm the Gen 2 alarm panel with the keypad user passcodes (max of 3 passcode) or the RFID tags (max of 10 RFID tags). The keypad will not disarm the Gen 2 alarm system using the passcodes that you have programmed into the Gen 2 alarm panel itself, however you can program the same passcodes you used for Gen 2 alarm panel so the passcodes are "synced" 

 

Programming the admin, user and RFID tags

Pairing RFID Tag

The RFID tags supplied with this kit can be paired with the keypad. This will allow you to arm away, arm home and disarm the Gen 2 alarm panel.

STEP 1: Enter admin passcode,  then press the √ check mark.

STEP 2: Press 1,  then the √ check mark.

STEP 3: Touch the RFID tags to the RFID sensing area one by one

STEP 4: Then press 'X' twice to exit

Note: Up to 10 RFID tags can be added.

 

Deleting RFID Tags

STEP 1: Enter admin passcode, then the √ check mark.

STEP 2: Press 2,  then the √ check mark.

STEP 3: All RFID tags will be cleared

Setting Admin Passcode

STEP 1: Enter admin passcode,  then press the √ check mark.

STEP 2: Press 3,  then press the √ check mark.

STEP 3: Enter the new 4-digit admin passcode,  then press the √ check mark.

STEP 4: Re-Enter the new 4-digit admin passcode,  then press the √ check mark.

Very Important: Ensure that you write down and keep the new passcode in a safe place in case you forget it.

 

Setting User 1 Passcode

STEP 1: Enter admin passcode,  then press the √ check mark.

STEP 2: Press 4,  then press the √ check mark.

STEP 3: Enter the new 4-digit user passcode,  then press the √ check mark.

STEP 4: Re-Enter the new 4-digit admin passcode,  then press the √ check mark.

Setting User 2 Passcode

STEP 1: Enter admin passcode,  then press the √ check mark.

STEP 2: Press 5,  then press the √ check mark.

STEP 3: Enter the new 4-digit user passcode,  then press the √ check mark.

STEP 4: Re-Enter the new 4-digit admin passcode,  then press the √ check mark.

 

Setting User 3 Passcode

STEP 1: Enter admin passcode,  then press the √ check mark.

STEP 2: Press 6,  then press the √ check mark.

STEP 3: Enter the new 4-digit user passcode,  then press the √ check mark.

STEP 4: Re-Enter the new 4-digit admin passcode,  then press the √ check mark.

Very Important: Ensure that you write down and keep the new passcode in a safe place in case you forget it.

 

Deleting  User  1 Passcode

STEP 1: Enter admin passcode,  then press the √ check mark.

STEP 2: To delete User 1 passcode, select number 4, then press the √ check mark twice.

 

Deleting  User  2 Passcode

STEP 1: Enter admin passcode,  then press the √ check mark.

STEP 2: To delete User 1 passcode, select number 5, then press the √ check mark twice.

 

Deleting  User  3 Passcode

STEP 1: Enter admin passcode,  then press the √ check mark.

STEP 2: To delete User 1 passcode, select number 6, then press the √ check mark twice.

 

How to arm 'Away', 'Home' and Disarm the Gen 2 alarm panel using the external keypad.

To 'Away Arm'
1. Press the 'Away' button
2. Enter either you Admin code, User code or touch the RFID (needs to be programmed first)
3. The alarm panel should then respond by counting down and 'Away' on the alarm panel will be highlight in orange

To 'Home Arm'
1. Press the 'Away' button
2. Enter either you Admin code, User code or touch the RFID (needs to be programmed first)
3. The alarm panel should then respond by counting down and 'Home' on the alarm panel will be highlight in Yellow

To 'Disarm'
1. Press the 'Away' button
2. Enter either you Admin code, User code or touch the RFID (needs to be programmed first)
3. The alarm panel should then respond by counting down and 'Disarm' on the alarm panel will be highlight in Green

Turn On the proximity sensor

STEP 1: Enter admin passcode,  then press the √ check mark.
STEP 2: Select number 7,  then press the √ check mark to turn on the proximity sensor

 

Turn On or Off the proximity sensor

STEP 1: Enter admin passcode,  then press the √ check mark.
STEP 2: Select number 8,  then press the √ check mark to turn on the proximity sensor

 

If you would like to reset the keypad

STEP 1: Remove the power supply, and turn off the battery switch
STEP 2: Press and hold your fingers down on the X and the √ check mark, then turn on the battery switch.
STEP 3: After holding for 10 seconds, the keypad will emit a long beep, indicating a successful reset

Installation

 

Doorbell

When the keypad has been paired with the alarm panel, selecting the doorbell icon on the keypad should make a ding dong sound on the Gen 2 alarm panel.
