My provider Rogers is discontinuing their 3G network. Will my Wi-Fi device still work?

Yes, our Gen 2 alarm panel and Cameras use your wifi routers 2.4G wifi network. So there is nothing to be concerned about. Please see the explanation below:

Rogers is shutting down their 3G cellular network (used by older cell phones and some mobile devices). This does not affect Wi-Fi.

3G = Cell towers (old mobile network) → being discontinued.

Wi-Fi = Your home or office internet (2.4GHz / 5GHz) → not affected at all.

So if your device connects over 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, it will continue working the same. The 3G shutdown only impacts devices that rely on the cellular 3G network, not Wi-Fi.
