Important Notice Regarding Power Usage for Your Wi-Fi Alarm Panel
Thank you for choosing our Wi-Fi alarm panel. We’d like to bring to your attention an important point regarding how the system is powered.
Our alarm panel is designed to be powered continuously using the included 5V 2A power adapter. The built-in backup battery is intended strictly for emergency use — to keep the system running during unexpected power outages. It is not designed to function as a primary power source.
If the panel is operated solely on the backup battery without using the power adapter, the battery will undergo frequent charge and discharge cycles. This greatly accelerates battery wear and can lead to a shortened battery lifespan, reduced backup time during actual power outages, and potentially unexpected system shutdowns.
To ensure optimal performance and reliability of your alarm system, we strongly recommend keeping the power adapter plugged in at all times. The battery will remain fully charged and ready to protect your system in case of a real power failure.
Please let us know if you have any questions or need assistance setting up your panel with the power adapter.
If you need to replace a battery in a sensor or remove the panel from the wall without tripping the tamper switch: 1. select the Gen 2 Alarm Panel device
2. Select 'Setting'
3. Temporarily disable the Local alarm and the Siren alarm.
4. You can now remove the panel or change a sensor battery without triggering the alarm.
5. Remember to enable the Local alarm and the Siren alarm.
