I forgot my Gen 2 Key Codes | OSI Go Direct Help Center

The default Key Codes for the Gen 2 Wi-Fi Alarm Sstem is:
(Firmware version 2.1.22. Last firmware version is 2.1.24)

Master/User 1 and User 2 Key Code: Default code is 1234.
Depending on the firmware you may have 4 users
We suggest changing the Master code right away.
System Code: Default system code is 9876.
We suggest changing the Master code right away.

The default Key Codes for the Gen 2 Wi-Fi/4G Alarm System is:
(Firmware version 2.1.25. Last firmware version is 2.3.00)
Update: Newer version 2.3.05 will be programmed into the most recent shipment in November 2025. *Please note that the Master Code no longer exists.

1. User 1 Key Code: Default code is 1234.
  User 2 to 5 key codes are empty and ready to be programmed as needed.
  *User can only Arm or Disarm an alarm panel.
2. System Code: Default system code is 9876.
  *System has full controll of the alarm panel
  Important: We suggest changing the User and System code right away.

The device will be reset by using the SN (serial number) of your Gen 2 alarm system. OSI Go Direct will generate a unique key code (this Key Code is tied to the SN and can only be used for this device)
** Skip this step if you have already received you reset Key Code and scroll down below to: 'Instructions after the Alarm Panel reset code is received'

Follow these instructions if you need to reset your System Code
(it can take up to 24 hours to receive the reset code)

Wi-Fi Gen 2 / previous Wi-Fi/4G Gen 2 alarm system - Please provide the product SN.
1. To find the SN of the Gen 2, select the shield and then the circle with an i in the middle. This will display the about screen with the SN (serial number).

2. Send this information with your proof of purchase;
- Where you purchased the Gen 2 from
- Date
- Order # (not invoice number)

Follow these instruction if you recently purchased a Wi-Fi/4G Gen 2 alarm system and the instructions above do not work for you.
Please provide the product SN.
1. To find the SN of the Gen 2, long press the setting icon as show below. This will display the about screen with the SN (serial number)

2. Send this information with your proof of purchase;
- Where you purchased the Gen 2 from
- Date
- Order # (not invoice number)

When you have this information contact us at https://www.osigodirect.com/contact/ and create a support ticket and provide all of the necessary information. Please note that it can take 24hrs to receive your reset key code. If you have already created a support ticket, you can send the information to the support agent by email.

** Instructions after the Alarm Panel reset code is received **

Step 1: You should receive an email with a reset code.

Step 2: Ensure that the Gen 2 Alarm Panel has been powered On.

Step 3: Touch the alarm panel screen. Then select the 'Settings' button

Step 4: Select 'OK' (bottom right), enter the reset key code and then select 'OK' again. You will here the device go 'ding dong'.

Step 5: After hearing the device tone, select the back arrow button.

Step 6: Then select the 'Settings' button

Step 7: Then select 'Debug'

Step 8: Then select 'Recover'

Step 9: Then select 'Recover' again.

Step 10: You will then see this message 'Keep accessories settings?'
Select 'Yes' to retain previously connected sensors with the Alarm Panel.

Step 11: The alarm panel will then reboot and you will see the 'Welcome' screen.
Select 'Start'

Step 12: Choose your language

Step 13: Then select 'I don't need tutorials' since we selected yes and kept the alarm Panel sensor setting intact. Then select 'OK'

Step 14: You will hear the alarm panel intro tone and will then see the Main Menu screen.

Step 15: You will then be able to access the alarm panel with the default key codes
