If the sensor batteries need replacing, you will receive a notification on the Smart Life App and a low battery message will also appear on the Alarm Panel display.
Below is an example of a notification you will receive on you smart device if a sensor has a low battery. The Smart Life app will continue to send notifications until you change the battery. See bottom of article to temporarily disable the low battery sensor.
When you open the Smart life app and select the OSI Gen 2 alarm device, then select accessories and check your sensors. You will also see Battery: Low for that specific sensor
On the Alarm Panel display you will see the following low battery warning. If you select ignore, the message will appear again until the battery is changed.
When you do select ignore, on the display panel main menu, you will see a symbol of a battery with an exclamation mark.
Selecting the low battery symbol will display the sensor that has a low battery.
Selecting the sensor will display the settings for the sensor that has a low battery and a low battery icon.
When you have changed the batteries in the sensor, you can then select the low battery symbol as shown in the above photo. It will ask 'Is the battery good?', when you select 'Ok' the low battery notification on the app and the display panel will stop.
Note: If you want to temporarely disable the low battery notification on the Smart Life app, until you change the battery, you can disable the sensor.
Open the Smart life app and select the OSI Gen 2 alarm device, then select accessories and go to the sensor with the low battery. Select the green toggle switch (green) to temporarely disable the sensor.
