How to Use the SOS Feature on the Gen 2 Alarm System

Overview

The SOS feature on the Gen 2 Alarm System allows users to quickly trigger an emergency alarm directly from the alarm panel or remote control. This function is designed for fast activation during urgent situations.

Using the SOS Icon on the Alarm Panel

Follow these steps from the main display screen:

Step 1 — Open SOS Options

1. On the alarm panel main display, tap the SOS icon once.

Step 2 — Select Emergency Type

2. Four emergency options will appear:

   • Medical

   • Fire

   • Police

   • Police Silent

Step 3 — Trigger the Alarm

3. Tap the desired emergency icon to activate the alarm.

The system will immediately trigger the alarm once a selection is made.

Using the SOS Button on the Remote

You can also activate SOS directly from the remote control:

1. Press and hold the SOS button for approximately 3–4 seconds.

2. The alarm will activate automatically.

Important Information

⚠️ Professional Monitoring Required for Emergency Dispatch

Selecting Medical, Fire, or Police does not automatically contact emergency services unless your alarm system is connected to a professional monitoring service.

• Professionally monitored systems: Emergency signals are sent to the monitoring center for response handling.

• Self-monitored systems: Only the alarm sirens and app notifications will activate. Emergency services are not contacted.
