To enable the notifications on your phone, there are 2 different settings you need to make in order to ensure that you receive alarm notifications. By default you shouldn't have to do this, but sometimes due to speficific settings on your phone you may need to.
FIRST - ENABLE PHONE NOTIFICATIONS ON SMARTLIFE/ALARM DEVICE
Step 1: Open the Smart Life app and press “Me” on the bottom right of your screen.
Step 2: Press the settings button on the top right of the screen
Step 3: Select App Notification
Step 4: Select 'Systen Notification'
Do not enable Phone Call or SMS Message. Read this article for more information regarding 'Phone Call and 'SMS Message'. (What is phone call and sms message)
Then Enable the 'System Notification' This should already be enabled by default
SECOND - ENABLE NOTIFICATIONS FROM PHONE SETTINGS (iPhone)
STEP 1: Select settings on your iPhone
STEP 2: Then select notifications
STEP 3: Search for Smart Life and then select Smart Life
If you do not see Smart Life in the Notifications list - Click Here
STEP 4: Enable all of the setting that you see below.
Scrolling further down on your phone, ensure that the settings are enabled as shown below.
That's it! You will now receive notifications from your OSI Alarm System
Example notifications: Notification when you Arm and Disarm your alarm system.
Note: Notification sounds from the Smart Life cannot be changed on the iPhone. When the Smart Life app is closed, notifications sent from the Alarm Panel to your phone will use the same default sound that the Smart Life app uses.

What is Phone Call and SMS Notification Settings?
Call and SMS Message are a new Smart Life Notification option that the company Smart Life developed which requires a subsciption fee and is not connected nor recommended to be used with the OSI Alarm System. NOTE: As long your alarm panel is connected to connected to Wi-Fi, you will receive push 'banner' notifications on your phone.
Phone Call and SMS Message on the Notifications setting can remain 'OFF'
To avoid these subscription plan charges pop up windows from appearing. Please make sure that the settings under Notifications Settings page are the same as you see here.
