How to Share the Gen 2 Alarm System or Camera with Another User on the Smart Life App

There are two ways you can share control (set up new users) for your Gen 2 Alarm System. The maximum number of users that a single device can be shared with is 20 users.

Very Important: The users you are sharing with must setup their own individual Smart Life account.  Download Smart Life and Set Up Account

 A. FIRST METHOD Sharing the OSI device with a specific Smart Life Account - NO link involved, you need to have the email address of the Smart Life account you are sharing with.

1. Select the device you want to share in the Smart life App 
   
   
   
2. Select the pencil or three dots... icon on the top right corner.

3. Select Share Device 
   
   
   
4. Select the arrow '>' beside 'SmartLife Account
   
   
   
5. Enter the Region and the email address associated with the account for the person you are sharing with.  
   
   
   
6. Then Select 'Done' at the top right corner 
7. You will now see the account name(s) and email address for the users you are sharing with when you select 'Sharing Management
   
   
8. When you select the account name, you can unshare the account.
9. The account you shared with will receive a notification on their Smart Life app, letting them know that you shared the device with them.
   
   When they open there Smart Life App they will see the shared device under the heading 'Devices Shared With Me'
