How to pair and use a Gen 1 Keypad with the Gen 2 Alarm Panel
Working States of Keypad
- Normal working state: Pressing any number key can will turn on keypad LED for
3s, then LED will turn off after 3s if a key is not pressed. - Dormant state: Under the normal condition, the keypad will enter into
dormant state if there is no any key operation within 30 s.
(pressing any key to change dormant state into working state
Before entering into dormant state, low voltage of battery would be detected and sent
signal to alarm host. - Administrator password: 6 digits (Default is 123456)
User password: 4 digits (Default is 1234)
Pair the Gen 1 Keypad with the Gen 2 Alarm Panel
- First select the 'Connection' button on the Gen 2 Alarm Panel
- Enter in you passcode
- Then select the 'Keypad' button
- Then select the '+' sign
- Next trigger the keypad by pressing the black button on the back of the keypad.
Note: The black button on the back also acts as a tamper switch. When the keypad is fixed to the wall and if someone tries to remove the keypad the keypad will trigger the alarm panel

Placing the Keypad into settings mode (Progam mode)
- Enter the administrative password (default is 123456) then press the # key on the keypad
- The kepad will beep once and begin the flash on and off indicating that it has entered the settings mode
- Press * key to exit the settings mode.

Arm Home, Disarm & Arm Away
1. First enter the user or admin passcode then select either Arm Home, Arm Away or Disarm.

How to trigger the SOS on the keypad - Click here for video
- Press the SOS button once on the Keypad
- Then hold your finger on the SOS key for 5 seconds and let go
- The alarm panel will respond with SOS
How to program and use an RFID tag
- Place keypad into settings mode, press: 41, then press the # key on the keypad. Then touch the RFID tag to the RFID reader. Press * key to turn off the settings mode.
- To arm with RFID tag, select the # key and place the RFID tag on the RFID reader, the alarm panel will be armed.
- To disarm with the RFID tag, select the * key and place the RFID tag on the RFID reader, the alarm panel will disarm.

- Place keypad into settings mode
- press: 38
- Then enter new 4 digit user code
- Then press the # key on the keypad.
- Press * key to exit the settings mode.
- Test new user passcode

- press: 39
- Then enter new 6 digit user code
- Then press the # key on the keypad.
- Press * key to exit the settings mode.
- Test new admin passcode
How to reset and return the keypad to factory default settings
- First place the keypad into the setting mode
- Then enter 987654321 and press the # key on the keypad.
- Press * key to turn off the settings mode.
