What are Sia Settings and why does it need to be entered in the Alarm Panel?
SIA settings are the secure connection details that allow your security system to talk directly to your monitoring software or smart home hub. Think of it like tuning two radios to the exact same station: entering these details ensures your alarm panel safely broadcasts its status (such as when it is armed, disarmed, or triggered) to the right destination without needing a heavy cloud connection.
When should i enter the SIA Settings
We feel its better to enter it after your SIM Card has been inserted, however if you entered it before thats ok too!

Step 1. Select the Cog icon ⚙️ to enter the settings page on the top right corner of the alarm panel
Step 2. Then select SIA

Enter your 4-digit account number after the 21. See the illustration below for an example of how your completed SIA Settings page should look. If you no longer have the letter with your account number, please Support TicketStep 4. Once you have inserted the SIM Card & entered the SIA Settings in the Alarm Panel the cellular bars at the top of the alarm panel should change from grey to white indicating that your alarm panel is connected to the monitoring station. This process can take between 20 minutes to 24 hours.
Step 5. A good test to make sure the system is communicating with the monitoring station is to arm and then disarm the alarm system. Each time you arm or disarm it, you should see a small green dot appear just above the white cellular signal bars. This indicates that the system is communicating with the monitoring station.
