The Doorbell Camera and the Gen 2 Alarm Panel should first be added to the Smart Life app. You will be able to control both devices independently within the same app.

You can then pair the OSI Doorbell Camera with the Gen 2 Alarm Panel; however, please note that the panel does not have any video display capabilities, so a live feed from the doorbell camera will not be shown on the Gen 2. Furthermore, you will only be able to view the live feed from the Doorbell Camera through the Smart Life app. However, after following the instructions below, when the doorbell button on the camera is pressed, the Gen 2 Alarm Panel will respond with a doorbell chime.

Pairing the Doorbell Camera with the Gen 2

Important: If you have a PIR sensor located near your front door, you should turn it off or cover it with a dish towel to block the active PIR sensor. This will prevent any interruption or false pairing with the PIR sensor while you are trying to pair the doorbell camera.

  1. Select the 'Connections' button on the Gen 2 display panel.
  2. Enter your Master code
  3. Then select the 'Doorbell' Icon
  4. Next select the + sign
  5. You will have 20 seconds to trigger the Doorbell Camera
  6. Press the Doorbell button on the Doorbell Camera.
  7. Once you do that you will hear the Gen 2 panel sound a Ding Dong chime
  8. You have now paired the Door bell camera with the Gen 2 Alarm Panel.  Any time someone pressed the doorbell button on the camera, the Gen 2 will Chim a doorbell sound.

Change the name of the Gen 2 Doorbell in the Smart LIfe App

  1. You can now change the name of the Doorbell under accessories in the Smart Life app.
