How Remotes work and how do I connect a remote with the OSI Alarm System?

The Remotes that come with the alarm system attach to your key chain that you carry around. It is a simple way of arming and disarming the alarm system without having to enter the passcode.

Pressing the 'ARM' button will Arm the Alarm System when you are leaving your residence or place of business.

Pressing the 'STAY ARM' button will Arm the Alarm System when you want to arm the alarm when your staying at home or going to sleep for the evening.

Pressing 'DISARM' button will Disarm the Alarm System. 

Pressing the 'SOS' button will trigger the alarm and the siren will sound. Press the disarm button to turn the alarm off.

How to program the Remote:

1. On the display select "Menu"
2. Select "Parts"
3. Select "Remote"
4. Select "+" icon on bottom right corner (to add the remote)
5. It will go to a new screen where it will say "Synchronizing" with a 20 second countdown. Press any button on the remote until you see it say "Learning OK" on the screen. You can now return to the main menu.
6. Repeat from step 4 for every additional remote.
