How do you create a code for the OSI Alarm System

What is the alarm code for?

The alarm code is for prompting you to enter code first before being able to arm, disarm as well as entering the control panel to make any setting changes on the alarm display.

On the alarm display follow these steps for creating/changing a code:

Default Passcodes:
User: 1234
System: 6666

--On the alarm display first check that that the Keypad lock is enabled--

1. Select Menu
2. Select Settings
3. Select Switch
4. Select Keypad Lock
5. Press the Double square icon (on/off switch) it should turn green
6. Select Checkmark to confirm settings

--Now we need to create the System passcode--

1. Select Back (you should be on the Settings page
2. Select Password
3. Select System
4. Enter the default System passcode 6666, then select the check mark
5. You will then see 6666
6. Select Delete Button (back arrow with x) to clear the passcode or press C
7. Now enter a 4 digit passcode, then select the check mark to save settings.

--Now we need to create the User passcode--

1. Select User, Since you changed the System passcode first, you will probably see the User passcode 1234
2. Select Delete Button (back arrow with x) to clear the passcode or press C
3. Now enter a 4 digit passcode, then select the check mark to save settings.

--Test the passcode--

1. To test, go to the main menu screen (The screen that shows the globe)
2. At the bottom right you will see a square with a key.  Press that to place the screen in sleep mode.
3. Tap the screen, then select 'Menu' for example. 
4. You will then be asked to enter the passcode, select the check mark.
5. After you enter the passcode select Menu again and you will have access to the system.

You are now done.
