How can I check the Wi-Fi Signal strength of the Gen 2

To Check the Wi-fi Signal strength between the Gen 2 Alarm Panel and your Wi-Fi Router/Modem

  1. On the Smart Life App, select the OSI Alarm device
  2. Select the Pen on the top right
  3. Select ‘Device Information’
  4. Where is says ‘Signal Strength’ , beside it, select ‘Reference’ to determine how strong or weak the signal strength is. Watch Video

       

If the Wi-Fi signal strength is Fair or Poor, we would recommend placing the Gen 2 Alarm Panel closer to you Wi-Fi router/modem or purchasing a Wi-Fi extender from your ISP (Internet Service Provider) or Amazon.
