In this article we will show you how to pair/add an Entry Sensor to the Gen 2 Wi-Fi/4G Alarm Panel - Click here -> for Video Instructions
Adding an Entry Sensor to the Gen 2
- Select the 'Connection' Icon on the main menu

- Enter the 'System Code' the default code is 9876, then press 'Ok'

- Select the 'Sensor' icon

- Select the '+' icon to add a new sensor

- Select the 'Entry' sensor icon

- By default the Eetry Sensor 'Mode' is set to Away/Home. Whether the Gen 2 is Armed 'Away' or Armed 'Home' the alarm panel will alarm when the entry sensor is triggered.
When you select Mode: Away/Home, you will see the Away and Home with a green line beside it. That means those modes have be chosen by default.
If you decided to select the Mode to 'Always', if the entry sensor was triggered, the alarm panel would count down and then set off the Alarm.
This means that the sensor is 'always' in the armed state, whether you select Arm away or Arm home or if the system is disarmed, when the sensor is triggered, the alarm panel will alarm.

- You can add a custom name for the Entry Sensor by selecting the description beside 'Name' and a keyboard will display.


Alarm Delay: can be left as is. That will allow the alarm panel to count down and give you time to disarm the alarm panel.
Code 134: at the bottom can be left as is. This is used for our professional monitoring services.
If you select the 'Advanced' menu at the bottom, you will see:
Entry Open Chime: The Alarm panel will chime anytime an entry sensor is opened. Please note that custom sounds are not available at this time when an entry sensor is opened.
Entry Open Warning: When an entry sensor is opened, you will see a red door open icon on the front of the alarm panel
When you select the 'Entry Open' icon you will see which sensor is opened.
If you arm the Gen 2 System from the panel, the following message wil display.
If you arm the Gen 2 System from the app and an entry sensor is opened, the following notification message will display on the app.
The last option under the Advance menu is: Entry Event Notification
Click here to know more -> Receive a Notification When a Door/Window Opens or Closes - To Add (Pair) the entry sensor with the Gen 2, In the basic menu, select the '+ Pair' button and you will have 20 seconds to 'Open' (seperate the sensor pieces apart) and the entry sensor will pair with the Gen 2.

Once pulled apart duringthe 20 second couont down, the alarm panel will display a message ' Pair Ok'
You will see that the sensor is now added to the Gen 2
We always recommend, arming your alarm panel and testing out the entry sensor to ensure that it triggers and sets off the alarm.
