- Enter the 'System Code' the default code is 9876, then press 'Ok'

- Select the 'Sensor' icon

- Select the '+' icon to add a new sensor

- Select the 'Motion' sensor icon

- By default the Motion Sensor 'Mode' is set to Away. When the Gen 2 is Armed 'Away' the alarm panel will alarm when the entry sensor is triggered.
If the Gen 2 is Armed 'Home' the Motion sensor will not trigger the alarm when you are walking inside your home, only if the the Gen 2 is Armed 'Away'
When you select Mode: Away, you will see the Away with a green line beside it. That means that mode has been chosen by default.
But if you do select 'Away and Home' for the motion sensor (as shown below), the alarm panel will alarm when you Arm the Gen 2 in Away or Home.

If you decided to select the Mode to 'Always', if the motion sensor was triggered, the alarm panel would count down and then set off the Alarm. This means that the sensor is 'always' in the armed state, whether you select Arm away or Arm home or if the system is disarmed, when the sensor is triggered, the alarm panel will alarm. - You can add a custom name for the Motion Sensor by selecting the description beside 'Name' and a keyboard will display.

Alarm Delay: can be left as is. That will allow the alarm panel to count down and give you time to disarm the alarm panel.
Code 130: at the bottom can be left as is. This is used for our professional monitoring services.
If you select the 'Advanced' menu at the bottom, you will see:
Quietly Alarm: This will alarm the system but it will not set off the internal or external sirens.
- To Add (Pair) the entry sensor with the Gen 2, In the basic menu, select the '+ Pair' button and you will have 20 seconds to 'Open' (seperate the sensor pieces apart) and the entry sensor will pair with the Gen 2.

Once pulled apart duringthe 20 second couont down, the alarm panel will display a message ' Pair Ok'
You will see that the sensor is now added to the Gen 2
We always recommend, arming your alarm panel and testing out the motion sensor to ensure that it triggers and sets off the alarm.
