If your Gen 2 Wi-Fi/4G Alarm Panel becomes unresponsive, freezes, or the Back button or connection icon does not work, the issue can usually be resolved by performing a power cycle reset.
This process safely restarts the control panel and clears temporary system glitches.
Common Symptoms
You may notice one or more of the following:

The Back button does not respond

The control panel screen freezes

The connection icon does not respond
-
The panel appears stuck on one screen
Solution: Power Cycle the Alarm Panel
Follow these steps to restart the panel:

Unplug the power adapter from the alarm panel.

Turn OFF the backup battery switch on the panel.
-
Wait approximately 1 minute.
-
Plug the power adapter back in.
-
Turn the backup battery switch ON again.
The panel will reboot and reload the operating system.
Check for Firmware Updates
After the panel restarts, we recommend checking for firmware updates to ensure the system is running the latest software.
