Yes. Smart Life integrates with Google Home, and the alarm panel can respond to voice or app-based commands. The key is enabling the correct device category and permissions inside Smart Life.
🎯 What can be controlled through Google Home?
Once linked properly:
-
Arm the system in Away mode
-
Arm the system in Home mode
-
Disarm the system (requires a secure workflow such as a PIN)
Example voice commands:
-
“Hey Google, arm my security system to away.”
-
“Hey Google, set home mode on security system.”
-
“Hey Google, disarm the security system.” (Google will ask for a PIN)

- Create a PIN code
 - Select Setting
 - Scroll to the bottom and select 'Virtual Password'
 - Select the 4 circles

 , then 'Confirm' again.
2️⃣Link Smart Life to Google Home
-

-

-
Select Works with Google
-
Search for Smart Life
-

3️⃣ Test Voice Commands
Try these:
-
“Ok Google, set "name of Gen 2" to away mode.”
-
“Ok Google, set "name of Gen 2" to home mode.”
-
“Ok Google, disarm "name of Gen 2".
Google will ask for your PIN.
For example as shown in the image below, the name of the Gen 2 is "Gen 2 Test' so I would then say:
- “Ok Google, set Gen 2 Test to away mode.” Then,
- “Ok Google, disarm Gen 2 Test."
- Google will ask "Can I have your Pin"
- It then responded, disarming Gen 2 Test"
You can also check status:
-
“Ok Google, is the Gen 2 Test armed?”
-
Google repsonded: "Gen 2 test is disarmed'
⚠️ Important Notes
-
Disarming requires a spoken PIN for security.
-
Feature availability may vary based on region and firmware.
-
Routines can automate arming, but Google will not disarm automatically inside a routine for safety reasons.
