Help CenterThe OSI Gen 2 alarm system and OSI cameras operate independently within the Smart Life app. The camera cannot be added as an accessory to the alarm panel, but it works as a complementary device.
Please note that the Gen 2 display panel is not capable of viewing video — it does not support live video feed or playback.
When the alarm system detects activity through its motion or door sensors, it sends a notification to the user through the app. You can then open the Smart Life app to view the live camera feed and check what’s happening in real time.
In addition, the camera can be configured to record events whenever it detects motion. Both the alarm system and the cameras use the Smart Life app, allowing for seamless control and monitoring from one place.
The OSI alarm system is capable of incorporating additional accessories such as fire alarm detectors, gas alarm detectors, carbon monoxide (CO) detectors, and water leakage detectors. However, these products are not currently offered for sale due to the necessity of obtaining government standard approvals. If you acquire a detector with EV1527 RF coding and a 433 MHz frequency, it can be synchronized with our alarm system.
