Mount the sensor 6.5 to 7.5 feet (2 to 2.3 meters) above the floor.

Angle:

Tilt the sensor slightly downward to cover the detection area effectively.

The Motion sensor has a built-in downward field of view (110° horizontal, ~405° vertical).

Location Tips:

Place in corners of rooms for maximum coverage.

Avoid pointing toward windows, heat sources, or moving objects (fans, curtains, etc.).

Keep away from direct sunlight, heaters, and air vents.

Avoid placing them behind furniture or other large objects.

Room Coverage:

Place sensors to cover entry paths (like doors or hallways) where an intruder would naturally walk.

Avoid areas with frequent pet movement, or use pet-immune sensors.
