Below are instructions on how to change User 1 to 5 and System passcodes.
Note:
'System' passcode can change all codes and all other settings on the alarm panel.
'User 1 to 4' passcode can only arm or disarm the alarm panel.
1. First select the security Icon on the Panel

2. Then enter the default System Code 9876 and Select 'Ok'
3. Then select the 'Code" icon

You will first see 'User 1' under the 'Change Code' screen.
To Select a different user, select the three horizontal lines beside 'User 1'.

- You will then see "System" and "User 1 to 5".
- Notice that 'System' and 'User 1' have a green verticle line beside them.
- What this means is 'System' and 'User 1' have been assigned a passcode.
'System' default code is 9876 and 'User 1' default code is 1234 - User 2 to 5 do not have passcodes assigned to them. This will be discussed later.

How to change the 'System' code:
1. First select 'System' 
2. You will then see the user ‘System’ under the ‘Change Code’ screen, with an orange line below ‘Original Code.’

3. Enter the 'Original code', default is 9876 
4. An orange line will appear below ‘New Code.’ Enter the 4-digit New Code.

5. You will then see an orange line below ‘Repeat New Code’; enter the same 4-digit code again.
6. Then select the 'save' icon located just below the 9.
7. You should then see a message 'Operation Succeeded'
Tip: The 'Eyelash' icon as shown here:
When selected, this will reveal the passcodes you just changed.
How to change the 'User 1' code:
1. If you see 'User 1' under the 'Change code' screen then go to the next step. If you don't, select the three horizontal lines and then select 'User 1'


2. Once 'User 1' has been selected, you will then see the 'User 1' under the ‘Change Code’ screen, with an orange line below ‘Original Code.’ 
3. Enter the 'Original code', default is 1234
4. An orange line will appear below ‘New Code.’ Enter the 4-digit New Code.

5. You will then see an orange line below ‘Repeat New Code’; enter the same 4-digit code again.
6. Then select the 'save' icon located just below the 9. You should then see a message 'Operation Succeeded'
Tip: You can change the 'User 1' name to a different name.
7. Select the 'User 1' name
8. A keyboard will pop up on the sceen where you can enter a new name. In this example we entered the name 'Dave' Select 'OK' to save the name.
9. In place of 'User 1', You will then see 'Dave' displayed. Remember to select the 'Save' Icon to save the new user name.
How to create passcodes for 'User 1 to 5':
1. Select the three vertical lines again to display the users and select 'User 2'
Each time you create a new code for a user a vertical green line will appear beside it.
- To create a new code for 'User 2' you will need to first enter the 'System code'

3. You can then enter the 'New code' and 'Repeat new code'
You can select the 'Eyelash' icon if you want to see the codes
4. If you want to change the username, select 'User 2'
The keyboard will pop up. First erase 'User 2' and then enter in a new name.
5. Then select 'OK' to save the name
6. We have not saved the passcodes we changed yet. Remember to select the ‘Save’ icon.
7. When you select the three lines again, you will see user 'Dave' and user 'Jen' now have a green vertical line beside them.
VERY IMPORTANT: Write down your code and keep it in a safe place, as you will need to remember the codes you created in order to change them in the future, if necessary.
Security Records Tip:
The large Sheild icon on the main display contains all of the security logs.
If the alarm panel was armed 'Home' and then user 'Jen' Disarmed the alarm panel, their name will show up in the 'Arm log' as shown below.
Update: The current firmware for the alarm panel is version 2.3.00. We are currently working on a new firmware update with additional options. In this case a new option will be added 'Arming requires a code' This will only allow users who have a code to arm the alarm panel. Whichever user armed the alarm panel will display on the 'Arm Log' security logs.
