A siren that is paired with the Gen 2 was unplugged from the wall socket. When plugging it back in, the siren continues to sound and will not turn off.

If a siren is paired with the Gen 2 and the siren was unplugged from the wall socket for an undeterminded amount of time.  When attempting to plug it back into the socket,  the siren continues to sound and will not turn off and will not reset.

To fix this issue, power Cycle the Siren as per the instructions below.

  1. Unplug the siren and turn it off.
  2. Wait at least 1 minute.
  3. On the alarm panel press Disarm
  4. Plug the siren back into the wall socket,  while keeping the reset button pressed.
  5. Release the reset button once powered on and listen for any beeps.
  6. If the siren is no longer sounding you can pair the siren with the Gen 2 alarm panel again.
