If you are getting too many motion detection notifications there are several things you can do:

-Point the camera towards an area with less moving objects such as cars a lot of moving trees or people are not in view.

-Change the Motion Sensitivity Settings. Changing this setting to low will help lower the amount of activity that activates the motion detection which will lower the amount of notifications you get:

  1. Open Device on Smart Life
  2. select pencil Icon on top right corner
  3. Select "Motion Alarm Settings"
  4. Select Alarm Sensitivity Level
  5. Select Low

-To Choose a specific Motion Detection Area. This is perfect for blocking out high traffic areas so the motion detection does not get activated much. Blocking out trees, sidewalk, or a street for example: :

  1. Open Device on Smart Life
  2. select pencil Icon on top right corner
  3. Select "Motion Alarm Settings"
  4. Select Activity Area
  5. Drag the corners of the RED outline and choose the area which you want the activity area to be. Anything outside of that area will not trigger motion detection Select Save

-To Choose Schedule specific time for Motion Detection to be active. Perhaps you are only needing motion detection at night due to kids constantly playing in the yard for example! Schedule a time such as later evening to early morning for the motion to be active:

  1. Open Device on Smart Life
  2. select pencil Icon on top right corner
  3. Select "Motion Alarm Settings"
  4. Select Schedule
  5. Select Add
  6. Select the time you want motion to be active and whether or not you want to get the notifications sent to you
  7. Choose the day days you want motion to be active
  8. Choose whether you want Motion Detection or/and Sound Detection
