How to reset Mini Camera, Floodlight Camera, Bullet Camera

Step 1: First remove the Camera device from the smart life app

Step 2: To do so, long press with your finger on the device. Device will be selected

Step 3: Select remove device at the bottom of the screen

Step 4: Then select Confirm

Step 5: Then select Done at the top right corner of the screen

The floodlight will Chime after 30 to 40 seconds and begin to flash red.

*If the camera does not begin to flash red*

Floodlight Camera has a reset button beside the 'SD Card' slot. With the pin that the camera came with, or a paper clip, push the reset button in for about 5 to 10 second, until you hear the floodlight chime. That is an indication that it has been reset.

The Bullet Camera has a white reset button beside the 'SD Card' slot. Push the reset button in for about 5 to 8 seconds, until you hear the bullet camera chime, the led light will turn a solid red. After 20 to 30 seconds you will here another chime and the red led light will start blinking. This is an indication that the camera has been reset and is ready to be paired with the smart life app.

Mini Camera has a reset button on the back of the camera. push the reset button in for about 5 to 10 second, until you hear the mini camera chime. That is an indication that it has been reset.

 PTZ Camera has a reset button below the lens area at the bottom. With the camera lens facing you, gently push up, just below the camera lens area to reveal the reset button below it, at the bottom of the moveable housing. Note: Do not touch the camera lens. Push the reset button in for about 5 to 10 second, until you hear the PTZ camera chime. That is an indication that it has been reset.

Wired Doorbell camera has a reset button at the bottom of the camera. This is only accessible using the special allen key to open the outer camera housing. Push the reset button in for about 5 to 10 second, until you hear the doorbell camera chime. That is an indication that it has been reset.

Then continue with the steps below.

Now add the device back to the smart life app.

  1. Press the + icon at the top right corner and select 'Add Device'
  2. On the left column, select 'Camera/Lock 3. Then select Smart Camera (Wi-Fi) on the right column
  3. Since the camera is already reset you can keep selecting next on the app when it says 'Reset the Device' When you get to the 4th screen of 'Reset Device' select 'Got It' then next.
  4. Select your wi-fi network name and then enter your password, then select Next.
  5. Hold the QR Code up to the camera lens, approx. 15 to 20 cm (6 to 8 inches) until you hear the camera chime, which should be less than 10 seconds
  6. Then select 'I heard a prompt (chime) and then select done.

You should now see the camera displaying live footage and the menu.
