You can add a maximum of 10 wireless strobe sirens to your alarm system as needed. We suggest our OSI-ALM-SIR-W wireless siren Please see purchase links at the bottom of this page.

How to add additional sirens to your alarm system.

Step1: First ensure that you have reset your wireless sirens. Disconnect all wireless sirens from their power adapter and turn all of the sirens to the 'Off' position.

Turn on one siren and confirm which siren you have: Siren version - April 2022 and Later, there is a 2-3 second delay between each beep. To reset the siren hold down the set button for 4 beeps, then let go of the set button. You will then hear two more beeps which will indicate that the siren has been reset.

Siren version - Before April 2022, the beeps are one right after the other, faster. To reset this siren, hold down the set button for 3 beeps, then let go of the set button. You will then here two more beeps which will indicate that the siren has been reset.

When you have reset a siren, hold down the SOS button on the alarm panel to ensure that the wireless siren is no longer paired with the alarm panel. When you have confirmed this, turn the siren to the 'Off' position and then turn on the next siren to reset it and test it to ensure that it is no longer paired with the alarm panel. Repeat the above steps for each wireless siren that you have.

Step 2: When you have reset your sirens, make sure that all of the sirens are set to the off position and keep them unplugged from the power adapter.

IMPORTANT - Ensure that the other sirens are in the off position each time you sync a siren to the alarm panel.

Now sync the wireless strobe alarm sirens one at a time

  1. Please ensure that you are on the Alarm System Main menu
  2. Then select 'MENU'
  3. Then select 'PARTS'
  4. You will then see the 'SIREN LEARN' button (Do not press it as yet, we will need to put the current Siren in pairing mode first) see next step
  5. Turn one Wireless Siren to the 'ON' position. (again make sure all of the other sirens are turned off) and depending which siren you have, follow either step #6 or step #7
  6. If Siren version is April 2022 and Later Hold down the 'SET' button (on the side of the wireless siren) for 3 beeps (there is a 2-3 second delay between each beep) , then let go. The wireless siren will begin to strobe rapidly. When it starts to strobe rapidly, press the 'SIREN LEARN' button on the alarm display panel. It is important that the 'Siren Learn' button is selected before the strobing times out. 3 beeps after pairing indicates a successful pair. 4 quick beeps indicate a failed pair. Please reset the siren again and start over. With a successful pairing, hold down the SOS button on the alarm panel for a few seconds to test the siren, then select 'Disarm' to disarm the siren.
  7. If Siren version is Before April 2022 Hold down the 'SET' button (on the side of the wireless siren) for 2 quick beeps, then let go. 4 quick beeps indicates a failed pair. Please reset the siren again and start over. With a successful pairing, hold down the SOS button on the alarm panel for a few seconds to test the siren, then select 'Disarm' to disarm the siren.
  8. The alarm display panel will say 'Learn Signal Sent' when you select the 'Siren Learn' button and will return to the Parts menu. Knowing if you successfully paired the siren is noted in steps 6 & 7.
  9. Now turn the siren that you just synced with the alarm panel 'Off', and now turn 'On' the second wireless siren and repeat the syncing steps above from 1 to 8. (Repeat the steps as necessary if you are adding more sirens)
  10. When you have synced all of the sirens to the alarm panel, turn all of wireless sirens 'ON'
  11. To test the sirens, on the alarm display panel press the SOS button for a few seconds. The wireless sirens will begin to sound loudly.
  12. Press Disarm on the Alarm panel to turn off the sirens.

Note: If the alarm is sounding and you press disarm, the second siren will take a little longer to disarm and keep sounding for a little while longer before silencing, this may occur with each addition siren. When using the wireless siren, ensure that it is always plugged into an AC power source. When the siren is plugged into the power adapter the 'On' and 'Off' button are disabled unless the siren is unplugged from the power adapter.

Additional note: If the alarm panel has a passcode the following normal situation occures. When you press 'Disarm' on the alarm panel, you will be asked for the 'passcode'. note that when you pressed 'Disarm' on the aarm panel, you are not actually disarming the alarming. You are wking up the touch screen as you have the alarm panel protected with a passcode. When you have entered the passcode, you will then have access to the main menu and can then select 'Disarm' to disarm the alarm panel which will turn off the sirens, wired and wireless.
