You can add up to 10 wireless strobe sirens to your Gen 2 alarm system as needed. We suggest our OSI-ALM-SIR-G2 wireless siren Please see purchase links at the bottom of this page.

How to add additional sirens to your alarm system.

Step1: First ensure that you have reset your wireless sirens. First turn all of the wireless siren's switches to the 'Off' position and unplug them from the wall socket.

Now turn on one siren and plug it into the wall socket. The siren should flash red once.

To reset the siren

Now hold down the set button for 10 to 12 seconds, after 5 seconds you will see the red light turn on and stay on, shortly after that while you continue to hold down the set button the siren will beep and flash 3 times.  This is an indication that the siren has been reset. To ensure that it has been disconnected from the alarm panel, hold down the SOS on the remote or display panel for 3 to 4 seconds. If the siren does not sound, you have successfully reset the siren.

When you have confirmed this, unplug the siren and turn the siren to the 'Off' position and then turn on the next siren to reset it and test it to ensure that it is no longer paired with the alarm panel. Repeat the above steps for each wireless siren that you have.

Step 2: When you have reset your sirens, make sure that all of the sirens are unplugged and the switch is set to the off position.

Again, ensure that the other sirens are in the off position each time you sync a siren to the alarm panel.

Now sync the wireless strobe alarm sirens one at a time.

Very Important: When pairing the siren with the alarm panel, please ensure that during the pairing process a door sensor or a motion sensor is not triggered as this will interfere with the siren pairing process.  It is best to pair the siren near to the alarm panel without any interferance from the other sensors, then you can put the siren at the desired location in your home or small business after pairing the sirens with the alarm panel.

  1. Please ensure that you are on the Alarm System 'Main menu interface'
  2. Then select the 'Connection Icon'       and enter your password.
  3. Then select 'Siren',  a message will appear saying 'Please make sure the siren is ready for pairing'  Do not press 'OK' as yet.  We will need to put the current Siren in pairing mode first.
  4. Turn one Wireless Siren switch to the 'ON' position and plug it into the wall socket, you should see the siren flash red once. (again make sure all of the other sirens are turned off)
  5. To place the siren is pairing mode hold down the 'Set' button for 3 to 5 seconds until the red light on the siren stays a solid red.
  6. You will have 20 seconds before the light turns off to pair the siren with the alarm panel.
  7. On the alarm panel where the message says Siren Pair 'Please make sure the siren is ready for pairing' you can now select 'Ok'
  8. After you press 'Ok' you will hear the siren beep once and the red light will turn off and a message on the alarm display will say 'Pair code sent'`
  9. You can test the siren by pressing the SOS on the alarm panel for a few seconds. Then select 'Disarm'
  10. Now turn the siren that you just paired with the alarm panel 'Off', unplug it from the wall and turn the switch to the 'Off' position.
  11. Now turn the switch on the second wireless siren to 'On'  and plug the second wireless siren into the wall socket and repeat the syncing steps above from 1 to 10. (Repeat the steps as necessary if you are adding more sirens)
  12. When you have synced all of the sirens to the alarm panel, turn all of wireless sirens switch to the  'ON' position and plug them into the wall socket as the desired location.
  13. To test the sirens, on the alarm display panel press the SOS button for a few seconds. The wireless sirens will begin to sound loudly.
  14. Press Disarm on the Alarm panel, remote or app to turn off the sirens.

Note: If the alarm is sounding and you press disarm, the second siren will take a little longer to disarm and keep sounding for a little while longer before silencing, this may occur with each additional siren. When using the wireless siren, ensure that it is always plugged into an AC power source.   The internal battery will recharge and if there is a power failure, the siren backup battery will last up to 8 hours.
