Check the settings for the door sensor, and confirm that the device type is set to "Door Alarm" and zone attribute is set to "Stay Arm Active" or "Stay Arm Active (without delay)".

Note: "Stay Arm Active (without delay)" is for doors where you want the alarm system to trigger immediately upon opening the door/window. With "Stay Arm Active" you can select a Entry and Exit time delay from 1-200 seconds, which is designed to give you time to disarm the system upon opening the door, and also to give you time to leave without triggering the alarm system after arming the system.

also try this:

Change the Zone# to a new unused Zone#

Sometimes changing the Zone# of the sensor to another unused Zone# fix the issue. So for example, If you have a door sensor assigned to Zone #4, try changing it to another random unused Zone# such as Zone #7. *Note: Ensure you assign a zone number that has not been used. To do this follow the steps below:

  1. On the alarm display select "Menu"
  2. Select "Detector" (detector is where the list of programmed sensors are listed)
  3. On the Detector screen, you will see your list of sensors. Select the sensor which you are having an issue with.
  4. Select "Zone #" and choose a new unused zone number.
  5. Press the Check mark to save (located at bottom right)
