Cannot connect Wi-Fi camera using the QR Code method - Try connecting using Wi-Fi Mode

If you are having a challenge connecting your OSI Wi-Fi Floodlight camera using the QR Code method there is another way to connect your camera without using the QR Code.  You can try to connect the camera using Wi-Fi Mode.

1. Reset the camera and wait until the red indicator light on the front of the Floodlight starts to flash On and Off repeatedly. How to reset your camera

2. On the Smart Life App select Add Device or select the + plus sign at the top right side of the Smart Life app and then select Add Device.

3. Select Camera & Lock on the left column

4. Then Select Smart Camera (Wi-Fi) on the right column

5. Select at the very top right (QR Code for Camera)

6. Then select Wi-Fi Mode

7. Since the camera is already reset and the red light should be flashing on and off (note during the day it is difficult to see the red light flsahing, cup your hand over it and you should then see it) , then on the app select,  Next, Next, and Next.

8. At the bottom please select EZ Mode

9. Select your 2.4G Wi-Fi network (note some modems on have one network name and are smart switching and will detect if you are trying to add a 2.4g device)  and enter your password (very important that you enter the correct password), then select Next.

10. if you happen to see this message below and you have a smart switching router, select 'Continue with Current Network'

11. You will see detecting networks and then you will see 'Connecting Device'

Your Floodlight camera should now be connected.  When you select 'Done' you will see a live feed of the camera.
