Yes, you can add your camera to a DVR or NVR using the ONVIF protocol. Note: This may not work with all DVR or NVR systems.

To enable ONVIF on the camera device:

  1. Open the device on the Smart Life App

The port number of the ONVIF camera is 8000

Note: Not all devices are supported as it depends what your DVR or NVR supports.

How to add the camera to your NVR or DVR would be available in your surveillance systems manual. It's quite easy. On most systems when you select 'Add Camera' on the surveillance system, the system should automatically detect the ONVIF enabled ip camera on the network.

Here are an example of what you may see if you add the camera manually. If the camera is automatically detected, then all of the settings will be populated automatically when you select the camera and save the settings. Please refer to your DVR or NVR manual.

As a test, I would suggest using the default user and password admin to ensure that the camera works with your system.

This is an example of adding the camera manually.
